Schoolteacher Kirsty Buchan had to leave her role after students discovered her account on the platform
A teacher who was struck off after students discovered her OnlyFans account has defended her decision in a recent interview on Good Morning Britain.
Kirsty Buchan, who had worked as a schoolteacher in Scotland for ten years, was forced to leave the profession in 2022 after her school learned she had an account on the platform, which is often used to share adult content.
The 34-year-old operated under the pseudonym ‘Jessica Jackrabbit’ on OnlyFans, with a bio that read, “good teacher gone bad.” Following the discovery, she was removed from the teaching register in Scotland.
Three years later, Buchan appeared on Good Morning Britain to discuss her work on the adult content platform with presenters Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley. During the interview, the mother-of-one left Reid momentarily speechless with one of her candid revelations.

Kirsty Buchan revealed the staggering amount she once earned in a single month on the platform during her interview on Good Morning Britain (ITV).
Responding to a question from Susanna Reid—who asked whether she had been worried about students discovering her OnlyFans account—Buchan admitted she didn’t expect to be found out, noting that many users on the site falsely claim to be teachers.
“I didn’t think I was going to get caught. The saying ‘good teacher gone bad’—a lot of people pretend to be teachers on the site,” she explained. “I didn’t think I would be caught. I didn’t think I would be famous.”
Buchan went on to acknowledge that she accepted responsibility for her decision to join OnlyFans while still working as a teacher. Speaking to the hosts, she said: “We all need to take responsibility—of course I knew the risks involved.”
“I’m a mum at the end of the day—my son comes first, paying my bills comes first,” Buchan added, emphasizing that her choices were driven by financial responsibility and the need to support her family.

Addressing concerns from parents and viewers who felt it was inappropriate for a teacher to work as an adult content creator, Buchan responded: “Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. At the same time, I’ve not shied away from it. I’ve taken responsibility.”
Revealing that many of her former colleagues had been supportive, Buchan continued: “What I’ve taught is, your pictures can go out there. I’m not saying do this—I worked really hard to be a teacher. I went to university, worked two jobs while being a single mother… I had to do this for extra money.”
Before turning to OnlyFans, Buchan explained that she had been struggling to manage a range of expenses as a single mother living on a teacher’s salary, all while caring for her unwell mother and son.
When Reid and Madeley asked how much she had earned through the platform, the former teacher revealed she had made nearly £60,000 in a single month.
