A bold movement launched by Australian non-profit YGAP is turning heads—and starting vital conversations. Known as the Polished Man campaign, it challenges men around the world to paint one fingernail as a symbol of solidarity with survivors of child sexual abuse.
Why just one nail? It’s a striking reminder of a devastating truth: 90% of all sexual violence against children is perpetrated by men.
While everyone is welcome to participate, the campaign focuses on encouraging men to stand up, speak out, and help change the narrative.
Celebrities like Zac Efron have taken to social media, proudly sharing photos of their painted nails to support the cause and spark awareness.

To date, Polished Man has raised over $513,000 from 61,000 donors, helping fund trauma recovery and prevention programs around the world.
