Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 12×16 inches.
- Spread the ranch dressing evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- Layer on the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, and mozzarella cheese, distributing them evenly.
- Starting from one long side, roll the dough tightly into a log (like a jelly roll) and pinch the seam to seal.
- Place the stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the top with beaten egg, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Using a sharp knife, cut a few small slits on top to let steam escape.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
Variations & Tips
- Spicy Twist: Add sliced jalapeños or a pinch of red pepper flakes to the filling.
- Cheese Swap: Try cheddar or pepper jack for a bolder flavor.
- Healthier Option: Use whole wheat dough and toss in spinach or arugula.
- Vegetarian Version: Skip the chicken and bacon; load up on veggies like mushrooms, bell peppers, or onions instead.
